Tampa Bay Men's Roller Derby (TBMRD) is committed to athleticism and sportsmanship, as well as raising awareness about and furthering the sport of roller derby.

TBMRD believes in the importance of fostering the spread of roller derby as a sport and supporting roller derby culture by embodying the values of friendship, empowerment, dedication, discipline and a “for the skater, by the skater” philosophy.

As TBMRD Skaters it is our goal to demonstrate positive roles and act as contributing members of the community.

Recruitment Night

The men of Tampa Bay Men's Roller Derby have been split into two teams and will take the track on May 20th to settle this family feud. Both teams have been supplemented with skaters from leagues from all over the state to include The Space Coast Skunk Apes, So Flo Men's Derby and The Hit Men of Manatee County.

 

Macdill Militia headed up by #77 Patron will take on Jook City which will be headed up by #11 Silent Knight. Both teams will consist of skaters from TBMRD's travel team The Gulf Coast Hurricanes. This bout is not one that you will want to miss. Get your tickets by clicking in the link on the left hand side of the page.

 

 

 
 

 

We are currently seeking: Skaters, Refs, NSOs and Volunteers. We have open practice on Tuesdays from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm at SkateWorld of Town N Country. SkateWorld is located at 7510 Paula Drive in Tampa. All interested skaters are urged to come out and practice with us.


Don't have pads or skates? Not a problem. Let us know in advance and we should be able to provide them for you. You will be required to bring a mouth guard and be at least 18 years of age or older to practice with us.
